It’s very helpful when troubleshooting for us to have your ‘Console’ date as this is a log of any errors which have occurred in your course.

To begin collecting this data you will first need to open the ‘Console’, this works slightly differently depending on what browser you use:

Chrome - Use the keyboard shortcut Command + Option + J (Mac) or Control + J (Windows/Linux).

Internet Explorer - Press F12 the select the ‘Console’ tab if available, e.g:

…or press CTRL 2 or CTRL 3 (this can vary between IE versions).

For Internet Explorer, it may be advisable to enable 'Always record developer console messages'.

To enable 'Always record developer console messages' go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab, then in the browser section check Always record developer console messages.

See here for a great example of how to turn this on.

Firefox - Use the keyboard shortcut CMD/CTRL Alt K

Once you have the console window open you should see any error messages that have been recorded:

…please then copy this content out as text or take a screengrab and the send it through to us.
